As part of the HR department, you will be responsible for the travel management and travel expense accounting teams. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing travel funds, organizing travel bookings and invoicing and optimizing operational processes.
Your tasks
Overall responsibility for the strategic direction and operational activities of the Travel Management and Travel Expenses teams
Management and further development of your own team
Responsibility for strategic projects, e.g. digitalization of travel management, introduction of new tools, further development of our travel policy and optimization of processes
Independent travel planning in coordination with travelers, e.g. booking flight connections, rental cars, train tickets, hotels, etc. and applying for visas in cooperation with the relevant authorities
Negotiation of framework agreements, e.g. hotels, rental cars, airlines
Preparation of evaluations and analyses to optimize travel costs and travel behavior
Your qualifications
Successfully completed training or studies as a tourism agent, travel agent or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional and management experience in travel management in an international company and with the booking of business trips
High affinity for digitalization and process orientation
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Goal-oriented way of working and practical hands-on mentality
Strong service orientation, negotiating skills and assertiveness
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
