As a Team Assistant Hotel Operations(Mein Schiff® ) (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you can expect more than just a varied job – you can also immerse yourself in the world of seafaring!
Your tasks:
- Support the Vice President of the Mein Schiff® fleet and the Hotel Operations Team in monitoring and coordinating workflows on board
- General assistance tasks within the department
- Creation and preparation of presentations, statistics and reports
- Preparation and follow-up of meetings, taking minutes, filing, reviewing and distributing relevant reports, ensuring the implementation of tasks
- Preparation and communication of personnel-related topics as well as welcoming new employees and initial briefing
- Preparation of pre-departure and pre-embarkation briefings for management positions on board
- Travel management for the Vice President
- Management and control of documents in the ConSense tool in close cooperation with the Operations Managers
- Additional, non-typical tasks, e.g. when taking over the ship or during shipyard periods
- Vacation replacement for the receptionist
Your course & your talents
What you bring with you:
- Successfully completed training and experience in the hotel industry /
Professional experience on cruise ships an advantage - Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High level of service orientation
- Assertiveness, flexibility, organizational talent, independence
- Ability to work under pressure, reliability and integrity
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
- Ability to work independently
- Very good general knowledge, confident manners
- Willingness to travel
