Your secret weapons...
- Completed commercial training (e.g. industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk) or completed studies (e.g. business studies, controlling, supply chain)
- Additional training in controlling, cost accounting or purchasing management would be an advantage
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience in purchasing controlling (ideally in the gastronomy, catering, food sector or retail)
- Ability to efficiently analyze and interpret large amounts of data
Knowledge of the special requirements of contract catering (e.g. tendering cycles, customer contracts, budget limits, quantity bundling) - Basic understanding of sustainability aspects in purchasing (e.g. regionality, organic, CO₂ reduction)
- Good knowledge of business management contexts (in particular cost of goods, contribution margin, calculation)
- Familiarity with industry-specific key figures (e.g. cost of sales ratio, gross margin, inventory turnover, inventory differences)
- High affinity for numbers and analytical thinking skills
- Precise, structured and independent way of working
- Strong communication skills (especially when preparing analysis results for non-controllers)
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic and assertive
Your mission...
- Development and optimization of purchasing reports, e.g. ABC analyses, price developments, product range analyses
- Creation of simulation models and forecasts
- Budget planning per product group, including ongoing target / actual deviations
- Preparation / presentation of purchasing processes, including recommendations for action
- Excel (pivot, X-reference, Power Query etc.)
- DATEV (cost center, cost unit evaluation, etc.)
- BI tools (e.g. Power BI) or controlling dashboards
- Digital purchasing platform or merchandise management systems such as Delegate, MEINbusiness, SAP MM
