AREA SALES MANAGER
ON-TRADE / GASTRONOMY
(M/W/D)
for the Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria region, with a particular focus on the Staufen im Breisgau area.
As a family-run manufactory, we have dedicated ourselves to the art of producing the finest fruit brandies, liqueurs and spirits for over 180 years. Our products find their place in upscale retail and sophisticated gastronomy worldwide. YOUR TASKS
- Selecting and targeting suitable catering establishments according to our portfolio
- Building, maintaining and developing a defined customer base in the catering trade, specialist trade and specialist retail trade
- Implementation of sales promotion measures and marketing activations at the POS
- Organization and implementation of product training, tastings and in-house and consumer trade fairs, support at national trade fairs and events
- Independent planning and implementation of all sales and marketing-relevant activities to increase visibility and sales
- Regular reporting and market observation including competition and trend analyses
- Active management of order quantities at the POS and ensuring the availability of goods
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed training in the gastronomy, hotel industry or a comparable commercial qualification; at least 1-2 years of professional experience
- Passion for premium products and the world of spirits
- Strong sales skills, sales talent and enthusiasm for direct customer contact
- Strong understanding of quality, style and demanding customer requirements
- A high degree of commitment, reliability and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
- Organizational and coordination skills as well as initiative
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends (e.g. for events or trade fairs)
- Ideally an existing network in specialist retail, specialist retail and gastronomy
- Driving license class B and willingness to travel within the sales area
- Confident handling of MS Office and CRM systems
- Very good communication skills in German and English
