It is a medium-sized center in the state of Saxony-Anhalt and is conveniently located in the triangle between the cities of Magdeburg, Halle and Dessau.
Your tasks
Observation and assessment of economic development, in particular the creation, further development and ongoing maintenance of a company information system
Carrying out regular company surveys
Finding best practice solutions and deriving measures from them
Helping to find and develop an economic development strategy
Securing and developing companies (maintaining existing customers), identifying key customers, conducting discussions, regular company visits, identifying support needs and active customer care
Establishing and maintaining a municipal commercial space management system – keeping an inventory of all commercial spaces
Expansion of vacancy management
Examining the commercial situation, preparing and processing location analyses
Acquisition of commercially usable areas, participation in the requirements planning of new commercial areas and properties
Location marketing and communication, i.e., among other things, applying for new business locations and acquiring companies, investigating the requirements of companies wishing to settle here
Presenting and promoting Köthen (Anhalt) as an attractive location
Classic networking, i.e. supporting the organization of city centre-oriented markets
City management, e.g. implementation and further development of the retail and center concept
Your qualifications
Completed studies in the field of city marketing, city management, tourism, geography, business administration, marketing, administrative business administration, administrative sciences or a completed employee training course II or comparable
Good business management knowledge, with the respective municipality-specific characteristics and legal foundations are desirable
Communication and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to attend appointments outside of working hours
Class B driving license
