Your job

Versatility is your great talent and you want the same from your job? As Junior Casting Manager Entertainment Services (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you can expect more than just a varied job in the entertainment team – you will also be immersed in the world of seafaring!

  • Ensuring continuous staffing of entertainment positions on board the Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleets, taking into account the job requirements and specifications of the operational departments
  • Creation and communication of deployment plans and tenders for the positions for which you are responsible
  • Administration and organization of the artist area
  • Organization, application, implementation and evaluation of castings (live & online) in the artist area (dance, artistry, acting, singing, music) in close cooperation with the specialist department
  • Close cooperation with artist and manning agencies
  • Maintenance and optimization of the employee pool including employee development
  • Contract and fee negotiations within the framework of the deployment planning (taking budget requirements into account)
  • Briefings for the entertainment positions to be filled on board
  • Regular reporting
  • Support with personnel marketing measures for the entertainment sector (online & print products)

Your course & your talents

What you bring with you:

  • Ideally initial experience in HR and/or casting, preferably in the cultural or theater sector
  • A degree in theater or cultural management is an advantage or corresponding professional experience
  • Professional experience on board a cruise ship is an advantage
  • Affinity with the content of the area to be supervised
  • Ability to work within budget while adhering to economic targets
  • High resilience and stress resistance
  • Organizational talent, independence and the ability to motivate employees
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliability and integrity
  • Confident IT skills (especially MS Office)
  • Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
