Welcome to the BID Schloßstraße Koblenz e.V.
Our mission: to shape Schloßstraße as a lively center of Koblenz and to increase its attractiveness in the long term. As a Business Improvement District (BID), we rely on private commitment to increase visitor frequency and quality of life. BIDs have already established themselves in many places as an important element of urban development. Our project is limited until 31.12.2028, with the possibility of an extension for a further five years. Take the opportunity to participate creatively and strategically and actively shape the future of Schloßstraße.
Your tasks
Increasing the attractiveness and customer frequency: you increase the quality of the Schloßstraße experience and ensure more customers and visitors with targeted measures
Implementing the marketing concept: you implement the existing marketing concept and take care of measures such as maintaining the homepage, social media and press work
Presence on the street: you are often on site and maintain contact with homeowners, tradespeople and customers
Event planning: you plan and actively implement creative measures such as lighting concepts, seasonal decorations and other activities
Strengthening the shopping and business location: you ensure that Schloßstraße is perceived as a first-class location for a high-quality shopping experience that attracts potential tradespeople
Network development: You are the central interface to the city, maintain contacts with authorities and the administration and continuously expand the network in relevant committees
Coordination and consultation: you take part in the monthly BID board meetings and coordinate a small team of cleaners
Your qualifications
Training or studies: Whether you have a degree or training is of secondary importance to us – what counts for us is your experience. Relevant subjects would be tourism, marketing, event management, event management, hotel industry or trade
Diverse professional experience: You have several years of professional experience and have a good understanding of how business people think and act
Event affinity: You are enthusiastic, motivate others and have experience in planning and implementing events
Hands-on mentality: You are a doer with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and tackle things head-on
Commitment and tenacity: You are passionate about Schloßstraße, are passionate about your job and are persistent in implementing ideas
Teamwork with volunteers: you report directly to the volunteer board and communicate clearly and purposefully within this framework in order to achieve successful results together
Benefits
Attractive remuneration: Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer an annual salary of between EUR 64,000 and EUR 70,000 for a full-time position
28 days vacation: You will receive 28 vacation days based on a 5-day week

Home office option: If you are not on site at Schloßstraße, you can work from home
Intensive induction: A member of the Management Board will be at your side as a permanent contact and sparring partner
