Our hotel
The Park-Hotel Hagenbeck, located in the heart of Hamburg, is a unique hotel directly adjacent to the famous Hagenbeck Zoo and Tropical Aquarium. With a total of 158 stylishly furnished rooms, including luxurious suites, our hotel offers an unforgettable stay for business and leisure travelers. Our guests can look forward to an exquisite restaurant, a cozy bar and a modern fitness and wellness area. Five versatile meeting rooms are available for conferences and events, accommodating up to 200 people.
We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.</strong
The tasks
Management of all sales activities of the hotel:
- Responsibility for achieving sales targets and increasing market presence
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Collaborate closely with hotel management and revenue management and distribution to achieve the hotel's commercial objectives.</li
Strategic planning and implementation of measures for new customer acquisition and customer retention:
- Identification and acquisition of new customers in the corporate, MICE and leisure segment
- Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships through regular communication and customized offers.</li
- Analysis and evaluation of market and competitive trends for the continuous optimization of sales activities.</li
Conducting customer events:
- Planning, organization and implementation of exclusive events and functions for our customers
- Ensuring a smooth process and a first-class customer experience
Participation in networking events:
- Representation of the Park-Hotel Hagenbeck at trade fairs, conferences and other industry-relevant events
- Building and maintaining a strong network with relevant partners and decision-makers.</li
The profile
- High level of motivation and initiative
- Good knowledge of the Hamburg hotel market
- Good knowledge and experience of distribution channels in the hotel industry
- Excellent negotiating skills and good rhetoric
- Very good written and spoken German skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Very good networker with an existing community in the industry.
- Multi-year professional experience in sales, ideally in the hotel industry or a related field.
