For our client, a renowned 5-star hotel with 400 rooms, we are looking for a dedicated cleaning/housekeeping foreman (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Professional management, allocation and coordination of the cleaning team in ongoing hotel operations
- Daily briefing and information of the employees about daily tasks and special features (e.g. VIP guests, events)
- Training and instructing newly hired employees - including those from outside the profession - in the use of machines, materials and the high quality standards of a 5-star hotel
- Quality control of the cleaning work carried out in rooms, public areas and back of house
- monitoring the cleaning staff with regard to correct clothing, appearance, hygiene and wearing of ID cards
- Daily time and performance recording, keeping attendance lists and performance records as well as accounting with the hotel
- monitoring compliance with accident prevention regulations and safety standards
- Collaboration with the payroll office and property management
- Advising customers and communicating with the hotel management and housekeeping management
- Carrying out the annual inventory of cleaning materials and equipment
- Observing and implementing the 5 commandments of the RBH
Your profile
- Experience in building cleaning, ideally in the upscale hotel industry
- Initial management experience as a foreman, team leader or checker desirable
- Confident handling of professional cleaning machines and materials
- High quality awareness and an eye for detail - in line with 5-star standards
- Reliability, initiative and organizational skills
- Friendly, well-groomed appearance and ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of German, further language skills an advantage
- Willingness to work flexible hours (shifts, weekends, public holidays)
