Management role for three hotel units with direct proximity to management

Hellers Twenty Four -Hotelbetriebe Bodensee, is expanding its organizational structure. We are looking for an experienced, confident and entrepreneurial leader who can manage three hotel units operationally, establish clear standards and actively shape the new management structure.

The task

This position is a central management role in the company. It combines operational hotel responsibility, employee management, quality control, organizational development and economic thinking. The aim is to manage the three hotel units in a stable, professional and guest-oriented manner – with clear responsibilities, reliable processes and a high standard of service, order and quality of results.

Your responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day hotel operations of the three hotel units
  • Management, coordination and further development of employees
  • Ensuring professional processes in reception, guest services, housekeeping and internal organization
  • Introduction and monitoring of binding standards, checklists, control routines and handover processes
  • Managing service planning, staff deployment, quality, occupancy, costs and operational priorities
  • Close coordination with management, administration, accounting, technology and external service providers
  • Control of order, cleanliness, functionality, guest satisfaction and complaint handling
  • Structured documentation of open issues, tracking of measures and implementation of agreed improvements
  • Participation in the further development of the hotels, internal organization and economic stability

We are not looking for a purely administrative personality, but a hotel director who recognizes what needs to be done, sets priorities and consistently supports implementation. You don’t have to do everything yourself – but you will ensure that the right things are done by the right people at the right time.

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in the hotel industry, ideally in a managerial role as a hotel manager, general manager, operations manager, cluster manager, operations manager or in a comparable role
  • Strong leadership skills, commitment, assertiveness and professional interaction with employees and guests
  • A firm understanding of operational hotel processes, quality management, service planning and economic management
  • Hands-on mentality: you see issues, tackle them, delegate appropriately and consistently follow up on results
  • Clear communication with management, teams, service providers, partners and external contacts
  • High service orientation, organizational skills, discretion, loyalty and a sense of responsibility
  • Confidence in challenging situations and the ability to establish order, priorities and decision-making skills
