Espresso House was founded in Sweden in 1996 and, with 7,000 baristas and over 500 coffee shops in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, has become the leading premium coffee shop brand in the Nordic countries. In 2017, Espresso House set its sights on Germany and acquired the Balzac Coffee brand. At Espresso House, we are passionate about coffee, people, and the planet. Above all, we strive to create the world’s best coffee for the world’s best guests—in a way that is ethically sound, sustainable, and ensures a great tomorrow. We are passionate baristas. Kindness guides everything we do—for one another, for our guests, and for our planet. It is our mission to offer our guests an experience that exceeds their expectations—today and tomorrow.
