Are you a creative mind and like to make sure that our guests have unforgettable experiences?
As head chef, you will manage the Bergkristall kitchen brigade, coordinate what happens in the kitchen and be responsible for administrative tasks and all processes in the kitchen.
You pass on your knowledge to your team members, motivate them and are responsible for training young chefs and apprentices. You work together with all departments of the hotel to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Culinary:
- Creation and implementation of a daily changing, seasonal evening menu
- Keeping an eye on all food offerings (including breakfast, lunch, daily menu, room service, events)
- Ensuring the highest quality standards for all dishes
- Focus on regional and fresh products
- Implementation of the Schroth cure
Leadership:
- Development and management of a motivated kitchen team
- Induction and training of young chefs and trainees
- Promotion of a positive working atmosphere according to the Bergkristall management guidelines
Organization:
- Creation of duty and vacation schedules
- Cost-oriented purchasing and working (budget responsibility)
- Ensuring and adhering to hygiene standards
Communication:
- Active participation in meetings
- Close cooperation with the management and other departments
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Several years of industry and professional experience
- High level of service competence
- Business management know-how
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Team and conflict management skills
- Competence in leadership, administration and communication
- Trainer aptitude
