National Key Account Responsibility in the food service market for potato products
Our client is an internationally operating, independent family business and one of the leading manufacturers of frozen potato products for out-of-home catering. The focus is on French fries and potato specialties that are specially tailored to the requirements of professional kitchens in the food service sector.

How can you help us?
- Strategic development & implementation of the sales and growth strategy in the German food service market for the potato products segment
- Responsible support and further development of the QSR and HoReCa channels
- Development and expansion of key accounts in the food service sector (e.g. system catering, transport catering, communal catering) including customized customer development plans based on sound analyses
- Planning and implementation of measures to increase sales and profitability (product range optimization, promotional concepts, promotions, listing and distribution expansion)
- Working closely with marketing, trade marketing and category management to develop customer-specific concepts, menu ideas and marketing activities
- Monitoring market, competition and trend developments in the German food service and potato market and deriving specific recommendations for action
- Internal interface function between the German market, international structures and central functions (e.g. supply chain, pricing, finance)
- Representation of the company at trade fairs, industry events and customer events
What do you bring to the table?
- Dynamic sales personality with a degree in economics or a comparable commercial qualification
- Several years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the food service environment or in the food industry (frozen, convenience, potato products or similar)
- Very good understanding of QSR and HoReCa structures in key account management as well as the relevant players in the German and international food service market
- An established network of decision-makers in the system catering, hotel industry and other chain customers
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
- A strong passion for food, a particular affinity for potato and snack products and an interest in current food and gastronomy trends
- Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical strength and a clear “drive” to drive issues forward and deliver results
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, authoritative and confident manner at decision-maker level
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and willingness to travel
- Team orientation and enjoy working together across departments in an international environment
