Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, Services
Full-time
Active since: 10.09.2026

As the largest provider of long-term care in Munich, we employ approximately 2,300 people throughout the city. While many employers claim to champion appreciation, trust, and equality, we take a different approach: We live by these values—and hopefully soon, together with YOU!
To meet the specific needs of our residents, their meals are tailored to their individual requirements. When selecting meals, we prioritize the residents’ preferences and lifestyle habits. We prioritize digestibility, variety, and the quality of the food, and we primarily use products from organic farming or organic livestock raising. It’s important to us to offer a varied menu to bring joy and pleasure to our residents. Theme weeks or special occasions help make meals more diverse.

Your responsibilities include:

Planning daily operations, such as shift scheduling, menu planning, etc.
Food preparation and event service
Responsibility for inventory management, including implementing purchasing guidelines and managing inventory on an ongoing basis
Maintaining the inventory management system and digital invoice processing, as well as approving invoices
Budget planning
Ensuring compliance with specified food quality standards, hygiene regulations, and occupational safety
Ongoing coordination with management, headquarters, and internal and external stakeholders
Personnel management and development, including workforce planning—such as conducting recruitment processes and organizing onboarding
Planning and ensuring that training and instruction sessions are conducted

Certification as a Master Chef or State-Certified Culinary Professional
Experience in institutional food service
Proficiency in cost analysis and organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Class B driver’s license preferred
Interest in promoting culinary diversity
An open-minded personality
Openness, patience, and empathy when interacting with residents
Interest in our diversity-sensitive care, particularly with regard to sexual, gender, and (post-)migrant diversity, as well as gender- and culturally sensitive awareness
