
Göring, Schmiegelt & Fischer is a law firm comprising nine attorneys—seven of whom are notaries—as well as a notary trainee from Württemberg, supported by a large team of business law graduates, notary specialists, and other notary staff. With its professionals and staff, the firm covers the entire spectrum of notarial activities and procedures, with a particular focus on handling large-scale transactions—often involving international elements.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
1. Greeting and assisting clients, as well as organizing conference rooms:
Organizing conference rooms and parking spaces, escorting clients, collecting identification cards and entering them into the system, offering beverages, copying documents, preparing conference rooms before and after use—including washing dishes, restocking beverages and snacks, and preparing reservations for conference rooms,
2. Managing the appointment calendar, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and receiving courier deliveries:
Maintaining Excel lists for courier shipments, franking, sorting, and distributing mail to staff members, coordinating the dispatch of mail, noting follow-up items for pending matters, and making copies for staff members and professionals as needed,
3. Switchboard:
Answering calls and providing initial support to clients, transferring calls and relaying information to case managers.
Requirements:
- We are seeking a full-time position
- Work hours Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., alternating with a colleague
- Business-level proficiency in spoken and written German and English
- 28 vacation days (increases to 30 with longer tenure)
